He so flabbergasted Schorr when he started his full voice singing, that
Schorr literally fell off his chair, amazed at the size of his voice.
Friedrich Schorr is considered, to this day, the greatest of all Wagnerian
baritones, known particularly for his Hans Sachs, shown here in Die
Meistersinger von Nürnberg.
